A Celebration of Life for Cynthia Lea “Cindy” Eckholm, age 61, of Enid, will be 11:00 am, Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Christian Church of the Covenant. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Cindy was born May 11, 1963 in Enid, to Lynn and Carolyn (Street) Semrad, and passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at home in Enid, surrounded by her loved ones after fighting a battle with cancer.
She graduated from Durant High School in 1981. She married Scott Winburn November, 1984, at the Church of The Covenant, in Enid. They had two daughters, Cassy and Cally. She attended vocational school to get her dental assistant certification. She worked as a surgical assistant for 20 years for Dr. Braly. She then continued to work in the dental field for several years, then ended her career as a referral specialist for several doctors at St. Mary’s Hospital. She also helped raise her granddaughter, and enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-nephew play sports. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, craft shopping, antiquing, and spending girl time with her great-niece.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and Carolyn Semrad, and former husband, Donald Eckholm. She is survived by her two daughters, Cassy Lybolt and husband Jesse, of Enid; Cally Winburn and Austin Tautfest, of Tonkawa; brother, Chris Semrad and fiancé, Cindy Ellis, of Enid; Scott Winburn, the father of her children, four grandchildren, Kadin, Noah, Taelynn, and Jess. She also leaves two nephews, Dakota Semrad and wife Terrah, and their children, Graham and Haven, of Hennessey, and Seth Semrad and girlfriend Brittney, and their children, Joel, Adleigh and Finley, of Hennessey, and stepfather, Tom Sander, of Texas.
Memorial contributions in Cindy’s name may be made to the Toby Keith Foundation OK Kids Korral, 818 NE 8th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73104.
