Ravenna - Cynthia Dawn Gregory, 63, of Deerfield, Ohio, formerly of Mineral Ridge, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 15, 2026, at The Woodlands at The Robinson in Ravenna, Ohio. Cindi was born April 17, 1962, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, the daughter of Paul Richard and Nettie (Hayhurst) Gregory. Growing up Cindi loved spending time with family, learning to cook and bake, plus listening to all types of music, especially rock-n-roll in her room. Cindi went on to become the General Manager of Country Kitchen for over 20 years, which she enjoyed greatly. Cindi was an avid animal lover who had cared for and adopted many cats, dogs, ducks, raccoons, as well as a chicken, a fox, a deer plus a pet skunk named "Daisy" and her pride and joy her fur baby a, dog, named "Trixie." Cindi leaves a sister, Darla Finley, and her husband, Roger, of Deerfield, a brother, Jeff Gregory, and his wife, Marlo, of Canfield, as well as 2 nephews, Austin Gregory and his wife, Rachel, of North Port, Fla, Tyler Gregory and his wife, Ashley, of North Port, Fla, and 3 nieces, Carlie Astor (Finley) and, husband, Andrew of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Shaina Metzler (Edler), and her husband, Shawn, of Warren, Ohio, Melanie Smith (Finley) and, husband, Will, of Fountain, Colorado plus Uncle Wayman (Butch) Hayhurst and wife, Patty, of Folsom, West Virginia, Uncle Michael (Mickey) Hayhurst and wife, Helen, of Folsom, West Virginia and Aunt Cheryl (Cheri) Creamer and, husband, Wayman (Jay) of Lumberport, West Virginia and other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from all over who will always cherish her memory because she was so kind, loving, giving, smart, generous plus she was a beautiful soul both inside and out. Cindi was preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Boyle (Hayhurst) her stepfather, John Boyle, nephews, Ryan Gregory and Michael Finley, a close cousin, Shawnee Neiswanger, Aunt Peg and Uncle Jack Stout, Aunt Dixie and Uncle Ed Edgell, as well as her maternal grandparents, Wayman and Helen Hayhurst. Following Cindi's wishes there are no calling hours or services planned at this time.
