Mrs. Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Henderson Harris, age 68, wife of James Stan Harris, of 128 Kissy Creek Circle, Union, passed away, Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Mrs. Harris was born June 29, 1957, in Union, a daughter of the late Louis A. “Cucumber” Henderson and Peggy Sanders Henderson. She was formerly employed with United Merchants and Manufacturing –Union Plant. Mrs. Harris was a member of Greater Union Church; she faithfully studied the Bible and loved her church dearly. She loved traveling to the Mountains, Beach, and State Campgrounds, spending time with her family and camping. Mrs. Harris was an avid baseball fan and especially loved the Atlanta Braves and the Cincinnati Reds.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a sister, Kathy Black and husband Ricky of Jonesville; three sisters-in-law, Cheryl Arrowood of Union, Jeanne Henderson of Spartanburg and Barbara H. Gregory of Union; a brother-in-law, Grady Harris and wife Donna and their children of Spartanburg; and seven nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Henderson and wife Lara of Union, Mitch Henderson and wife Katie of Union, Meagan Burnett and husband Jonathan of Buffalo, Taylor Johns and husband David of Union; Alex Henderson of Jonesville, Charlotte Johns of Union; and Amanda Gregory-Leigh of Union. She was predeceased by two brothers, Bruce Henderson and Ken Henderson and one brother-in-law, Donald Harris.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Greater Union Church conducted by Rev. Roger Estes.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the services at the Church.
Memorials may be made to Greater Union Church, 323 N. Duncan Bypass, Union, SC 29379.
The family is at their respective homes.
