Cynthia Lou Meadows

Cynthia Lou Meadows (Cindy Lou), 63, of Mercer Nursing Home gained her wings on Saturday, October 25, 2025. 

Born February 1, 1962, in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter to the late Rita Meadows Hampton. Cindy has resided in Bluefield, WV most of her life, she attended Central School. She worked as a bartender, housekeeper, and then a homemaker. Cindy loved to word crossword puzzles and color in books with coloring pencils. Cindy was a bundle of joy and fun. She was a family protector and will be greatly missed. 

Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Rita Meadows Hampton, sister Lena Hamm, and brother Thomas (Tom Tom) Meadows. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Tara Hall of Falls Mills, VA, and Sarah Kesterson of Beckley, WV; two sons, Joseph (Joey) Kesterson and Steven (Stevie) Kesterson, both of Beckley, WV; sisters, Shelby Woodie of Falls Mills, VA, and Linda Denton (Sissy) of Glenwood, WV; brother, Stuart Hampton and companion Rosie Tisdell of NC; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held, Sunday, November 2, 20245, at 2:00 PM at The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Craig Hammond officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM at the funeral home.
