Cynthia "Cindy" Myers, 78 of Varnville, South Carolina, formerly of Vance passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Born on October 30, 1946 in Orangeburg, South Carolina Cindy was a daughter of the late Liz Scott Sweat and Charles "Bert" Sweat.
Cindy is preceded in death by her husband Leon Myers, her parents and her brother Charles Sweat, Jr.
Cindy is survived by daughters Yolanda Williams (Tommy) and Evonne Preston (Ron); sister Annie Knight (Rudy); grandchildren Ashley Eldridge (Lee), Brian Williams (Bricen), Brianna Preston (Wiley), and Jacob Preston; six great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1-2PM at Avinger Funeral Home a service will follow at 2PM in the Avinger Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will conclude at Gerizim Methodist Church Cemetery, 1432 Vance Road.
