Cynthia Cearley Rice, 65, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2025, in Holland, Texas. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Dossman Funeral Home are taking care of arrangements.
She was born in Temple, TX. on December 14,1959, to parents Bennie Frank Cearley and Joyce Maureen (Davis) Cearley.
Throughout her life, Cindy embraced the joys of nature and family. She had a special affection for her goats, chickens, and her beloved pups. There was no greater joy for her than spending time with her grandchildren, Taylor Eckert and Benjamin "Benji" Rock, who brought immense happiness to her life.
Cindy is survived by her son, Randy Rock, and her daughter, Laura Eckert. She also leaves behind her brothers, Mike Cearley and Kevin Cearley, and her sister, Pamela Atkinson.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Frank Cearley. While she will be deeply missed by those who knew her, her warm spirit and loving nature will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
