In Loving Memory of Cynthia Williams Taylor
June 4th 1959 - December 5th 2025
It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Cynthia Williams Taylor, 66 yrs old, who left us peacefully after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She is now in the hands of our God and creator.
Born on Fort Lawton in Seattle, WA, Cynthia was a woman of compassion, creativity, and boundless generosity. She earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work, dedicating her life to supporting and uplifting others with wisdom and care. Her work touched many lives and reflected her deep empathy and strength of character.
Outside of her professional life, Cynthia was known for her artistic spirit and eye for beauty. She was admired for her extraordinary talent in home decorating and jewelry making—especially her intricate beadwork, which brought joy to all who saw and wore her creations.
As a gifted hostess, Cynthia, had a natural ability to bring people together. She loved planning and hosting family gatherings, always going above and beyond to make each celebration special and beautifully arranged.
She also had a deep love for travel, embracing the opportunity to explore different parts of the world and create lasting memories until her health no longer allowed it. Closer to home, she found joy and peace in hiking with her beloved Pomeranians by her side.
Cynthia will be remembered for her warm heart, her vibrant spirit, and the love she poured into every part of her life. She is survived by her devoted husband Robert L. Taylor, her two loving children, Alicia E. Mathews and Ian Q. Taylor, her mother, Marcia J. Owen and husband Wayne K. Owen, her younger sister Carol J. Williams, two son-in-law's, Kevin W. Taylor and William J. Mathews, and a granddaughter, Tessa R. Taylor. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald C. Williams.
She also leaves behind many dear friends who cherished her companionship, creativity, and strength.
Cynthia's presence in our lives was a gift and her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her.
There will be viewing on December 15th, 2025 between 6-8 pm at the Provident Funeral Home in South Ogden. You are welcome to come and share cherished stories about Cynthia and give your condolences to the family. A celebration of her life will be held and announced at a later date. All who knew and loved her are welcome.
