Cyril Francis Weisbeck

Cyril Francis Weisbeck, age 92, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of his family. He shared 67 beautiful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Viola, and was a proud and loving father to his five daughters: Claudia (John) Petrie, Sharon (Gerald) Ferguson, Celeste Penn, Sheila (Daniel) Moran, and Suzan Funke. He was a cherished grandfather to Heather, Nicole, Stacey, Sean, Kelli, Ryan, Hunter, and Brody Cyril, and a proud great-grandfather to Kaida and Julian.

Raised on a farm in Herreid, South Dakota, as one of nine children, Cy carried the values of faith, hard work, and family with him throughout his life. He faithfully served as an usher at St. Theresa Parish for over 40 years and was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus. He spent his entire professional career with ADT Security, earning the respect of all who knew him through his integrity and strong work ethic.

Cy was a simple, humble man who found great joy in life's everyday moments - especially playing cards and Rummikub with family and friends. A man of deep faith and extraordinary kindness, he was selfless to the very end, always placing others first and caring most about the well-being of his beloved Sweetheart Viola and his family.

His steady presence, gentle strength, and warm, positive spirit touched countless lives. Cy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love, faith, and selfless example he lived every day.

Visitation Sunday, February 15th from 2-6 PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 185 E. Northwest Hwy. Palatine, IL 60067. Funeral Monday, February 16th, 9:30 AM from Smith-Corcoran for 10 AM Mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church 455 N. Benton St. Palatine, IL 60067. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Memorial donations to the American Heart Association in Cy's honor are appreciated.
