My heartfelt condolences are offered to the family, many, many friends, colleagues and devoted fans of D.H. Peligro. D.H. Peligro was the longtime drummer for the legendary punk rock band the Dead Kennedys. He was greatly admired by his fellow artists and all those who knew him. May the love and many, many special memories you shared with your devoted loved one show how much your life was touched by him. May the God of comfort bless your grieving hearts with strength, loving kindness and peace as the world copes with the loss of D.H. Peligro. May his music and legacy keep his memory alive forever.

It was a pleasure meeting you and thank you for signing my leg at your show. It has been tattooed on and will now always be a part with me. DK has always been a favorite band of mine and I have to say when the news hit me of your passing I broke down and cried. It made me feel old and reminded me to always smile about how life can be full of great memories. I really hope the DK continues to play. I plan to frame your book you signed to me. Godspeed my friend.

On my 12th Birthday, I got my first skateboard and my first Punk Rock album The Dead Kennedys “Frankenchrist” and it was what ignited my love of Punk to this day at age 50, with the Kennedy’s still being my all time favorite band. I still listen to them quite often. The world has lost an amazing talent. Rest East Darren. Your contribution to Punk Rock and being the beat to the soundtrack of my youth and formative years can never be understated.

My prayers are with the Peligro family during this very difficult time.
