Daena Salinas was born March 9, 1961, in Lubbock to the late Manuel and Amparo Garcia. She married Richard “Rick” Salinas on January 10, 1981, in Lubbock treasuring forty years of marriage, he preceded her in death on November 24, 2020. Daena owned and operated All Quote Insurance and enjoyed playing bingo, gambling at casinos, watching TikTok videos and doing her makeup. Above all, even spending time with her family, she loved spending time and playing with her “love”, her grandson Jax.
Mrs. Salinas was called to be with the Lord, Monday, May 15, 2023. Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Richard Salinas Jr. and wife Melissa; a daughter, Roxanne Euresti and partner Maria DeLeon; sisters, Evalinda Garcia of Lubbock and Trini Chavez; a brother, Eddie Garcia and one grandson, Richard Jax Salinas all of Lubbock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Rick” Salinas; her parents, Manuel & Amparo Garcia; brothers, Raymundo Delgado, Manuel Delgado Jr., Alfredo Delgado, Elias Flores and Michael Garcia; sisters, Josephina Rodriguez, Irma Coronado, Edna Lucio and Mercedez Montoya.
A Celebration of Life will be Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with Rev. Doug Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Broadway Funeral Directors. A prayer service will be held 6:00 pm Thursday, May 18, 2023 in The Chapel of Broadway Funeral Directors with viewing starting at 10:00 am
