Daisy C. McKiddy - age 95, a longtime resident of Jamesport, MO passed away Thursday morning, November 13, 2025, at her home in Jamesport. Daisy was born on August 27, 1930, the daughter of Archie Thomas and Frankie (Helmandollar) Call in Edinburg, MO. Daisy was a 1948 graduate of Jamesport High School. She married John R. McKiddy on January 28th, 1952, in Harrison, Arkansas. Daisy was the longtime librarian in the Gilman City School District and later worked at the Gallatin School District. She was a member of the Jamesport United Methodist and the Daviess County Library Board. Daisy enjoyed gardening and yard work. She also liked travelling with her husband and watching birds. Most of all she loved her family. In addition to being a dedicated educator she was a farmer's wife and homemaker. Daisy was a lifelong sports fan. She especially enjoyed the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals. Daisy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Daisy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. McKiddy; daughter, Sara C. Littrell; granddaughter, Tammy Peery; siblings, Mary Anna Reeter and Charles Thomas Call and her nephew, David Call. She is survived by two sons, John T. McKiddy (Leanna) of Jamesport, MO and Dan McKiddy (Sherry) of Jamesport, MO; seven grandchildren, Michael (Audrey), Nicole, Kelly (Josh), Cody (Mendy), Kathy, Brandy, and BJ; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Daviess County Library or the Jamesport United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home. A service celebrating Daisy's life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2025, at the Jamesport United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service at the church. Friends may call from 2 PM to 5 PM, Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Jamesport Masonic Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care and direction of Stith Funeral Home in Jamesport (660) 684-6133.
