Services for Daisy Ola Leonard Tisdale will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 1:00 p.m., at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. Chuck Overby officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes are honored to be entrusted with arrangements.

Mrs. Tisdale, 91, of Meridian, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, at her residence.

Daisy grew up in a musical family, she enjoyed listening to the fiddle and dancing. She owned many businesses in the Meridian area and was a bookkeeper for most of her life. She loved to work and worked up until two weeks before her passing. She adored people and had many that she considered children and grandchildren. She will be most remembered for being a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her sons, Billy Eugene Tisdale (Sue) and James Elbert Tisdale; grandchildren, Joseph Eugene Tisdale (Christina), Janice Susanne Tisdale Ezell (Bradley), Susan Renee Tisdale Dunn (Ted), Melanie Lee Tisdale Hayes (Marcus), and Amanda Jo Tisdale Reynolds (Bryant); numerous great grandchildren; sisters, Maggie Leonard Cardwell (Ed) and Mary Leonard Havard; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Tisdale; parents, Robert Elbert and Daisy Ola Jowers Leonard; siblings, Jeannie Leonard Crosby, Robert “Buddy” Leonard, Johnnie Leonard, Donna Leonard Appleton, Eugene Leonard, Nettie Leonard Bryant, and Katie Leonard Jackson; and daughter-in-law, Bobbie Tisdale.

Pallbearers will include Joseph Tisdale, George “Man” Jackson, Bryant Reynolds, Tedd Dunn, Gabe Wiggins, and Bradley Ezell.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to service at the funeral home.
