Dakota Lee Miller Sr., 32 of Terre Haute, Indiana was taken home to the Lord on Friday, October 24,2025. He was born to Amanda (Kernstein) Kirk and Brian Miller on August 2,1993 in Indianapolis.
Dakota worked as a mechanic and he loved riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends most of all.
Dakota is preceded in death by his Granny Jan Miller, brother Dylan, baby cousin Travis, Grandpa Jim Miller, Uncle Randy and Uncle Steve.
Dakota is survived by:
Parents Bill and Amanda Kirk and Brian and Kristina Miller.
Chelsey Laycock and their children Dakota Jr and Blaze Matthew.
Step-son Xaden and Step-daughter Zoey,
Brothers Austin (Lacey) Kirk, Taylor (Leona) Layton, Christopher (Marilyn) Miller, Devan Kirk, Corbin Miller, Chad Miller.
Sisters Mersadiez Miller, Elizabeth Miller and Morgan Smith.
Grandparents Chris and Mark Loewenberg, Linda and Dennis Harbour, Marilyn Miller, Debbie Kirk-Peters and Kitty Padgett
Uncles John (Tammy) Kernstein, Chance Kernstein, Jeff (Jennifer) Miller, Nate Kuckewich.
Aunts Jamie (Josh) Johns and Donna Miller.
Nieces and Nephews Ruby, Ivy, Elly Mae, Isaiah, Maisleigh, Oliver, Ellie and Ryder.
Special Aunt Kathy.
And so many more family and friends!
Dakota was so full of love and life and will be truly missed by all who knew him!
Visitation will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Art Orndorff. Burial to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a fund for Dakota's children. Online condolences may be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com

I just wanted to say he was the most funniest person I've ever met in my life his brother chris is my 2 daughters best friends growing up and meme and his step father are awesome people my son nate taylor says he loves u guys and sorry for your loss
