Dakota James Price-Shields, age 7, of McDonough, GA passed away May 30, 2009. Dakota was an outgoing, vibrant young boy who enjoyed being with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing football, fishing, baseball, riding his four-wheeler, riding horses, play station, Wii and all of the Star Wars movies. He enjoyed teasing his family especially his grandfather and sister. Survivors are his mother and dad, John and Nicole Shields of McDonough; father and step mother, Terry and Nikki Price of Hilliard, FL.; sister, Cheyanne Price-Shields of McDonough; brother, Pvt. Dusty Price of Fort Benning, GA; step brothers, Ryan and Kyle Shields of Jacksonville, FL; step sister, Crystal Shields of Macon; grandparents, Charles and Cathy Blankenship Allen of Covington, Steve Willard of Willow Springs, MO, Joe and Ann Shields of Flovilla; great-grandparents, Marie and Jim Kirby of Stockbridge, and J. P. Willard of McDonough; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him. He was preceded in death by grandparents, David and Nell Price. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 – 8:00 PM at Haisten Funeral Home in McDonough. Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 3, 2009 – 11:00 AM in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Jones officiating. Interment will be at Lawn Wood Memorial Park in Covington, GA.
