When I lived in North Aurora, Dale was our mayor. He was the best! He cared about the citizens of N. Aurora and would listen to their concerns at the meetings. I can't say enough nice things about him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends that knew him. He will be missed.

Dale Berman was a wonderful human! He was friend of my father, Bud Hoey, during their college days at NIU, and he was a friend and mentor to me during my 30-year career at Northern. Always upbeat and positive even during the most trying of times. A true man of the people! Rest in Peace, my friend. Your spirit remains with all you loved and knew you, Dale. Go Huskies!

Dear Mary and family,
Margaret and I will miss Dale for all the memories we have spent being in business in North Aurora where he introduced me to the Union Congregational Church and North Aurora Lions Club. Lots of fun with his friendly jokes and spending time on the Mercy Health Center Foundation board. Our heartfelt sympathy goes to all your friends and family.

Once in a lifetime someone enters our area and provides wisdom and outstanding service to his/her community and its people. Dale (and his wife) were the best. Hope to see him in the next life.

Mary and family, our prayers for comfort are with you at this difficult time. I know that Dale is in a wonderful place, having incredible conversations with Jesus. His wonderful attitude duringhis illness mystified some people. But I know that he knew where he was going, and that reward was better than any best day he could experience anywhere else. We will all miss him. But I'm glad to know that someday those that have accepted Jesus at Lord and Savior will be with him!
