Dale Friend Obituary
We have lost a great story teller, a collector of friends and their stories. Dale was that person who met you once and you were his friend, worthy of his ears, time and heart. He taught school, worked many jobs in his summers, officiated basketball, watched most sports avidly. But, it was his UW Huskies where his passion rested. So very many games, home and away, he loved it all. Purple through and through!
He loved, beyond measure, his wife, Ione, and the family they created, to tell their stories to all who would listen. We were so fortunate to have him for so long, sixty years married, many great trips all over the world, until Parkinsons finally took him Home.
We will love and miss him forever, we will tell his story to all who will listen. No need to ask.
