Dale G. Huskey, age 100, of Elora, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 20, 1925, in Chatham, Alabama. Over the course of her long and remarkable life, Dale lived in Ohio and Arab, Alabama, before settling in Elora, where she shared her days with her beloved granddaughter and caretaker, Kindra Copes, and her husband, William Copes.

Dale was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ollie Glass; her brother, Charles Glass; her sister, Sara Anderson; her first husband, William Comstock, by whom she was widowed; and her second husband, Lou Huskey, whom she was later widowed by as well.

She is survived by her children, Terry (Ruth) Comstock, Cheri (Eugene) Ayers, and Kim Roberts; her grandchildren, Bill (Felicia) Comstock, Jim (Janelle) Comstock, Danny (Tiffany) Comstock, Candy (Zane) Thomson, Amanda Szoke, Dustin (Stephanie) Ayers, Kindra (Bill) Copes, and Kayla Wilcox; her niece, Carol Hawkins; along with 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Her family was the center of her world, and she delighted in watching them grow, thrive, and carry forward her legacy of love, warmth, and devotion.

Dale will be remembered not only for her resilience and strength, but for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to the people she loved. Her laughter, wisdom, and compassion touched everyone who knew her, leaving behind an imprint that will be cherished forever.

In accordance with her wishes, Dale was cremated and brought home to be with her family. A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date to honor her memory.
