I recently thought about Dale and decided to look him up. He sold us packaging supplies while working for Ship Pac and Bravo. I am sorry to hear of his passing. I am so glad he knew the LORD!!

Randy was in a dream I was having when I woke up today...the day we will all gather to honor this wonderful person. I see his smile and hear his laughter, and always will. Steve and I are honored to have known Randy.

I'm sooo saddened of hearing of Randy's passing. My thoughts and prayers to the family and friends. I lived with Randy back in the days and had so much fun with him. What a super guy!! We're going to miss his charm and smiles

Played golf with Randy in Florida in February with Kazoo group and in April that I think was his last round of golf. He said Dr told him not to play because of upcoming back surgery but he said he wanted to play at least once. He had 3 birdies, including on the 18th, won $35 and bought a round. That characterizes him and how I will remember him

What a great friend and wonderful person. He is already missed by all who knew him. RIP.

From our early days together at Westwood Elementary School in 1955, to Randy picking me up in his 1966 Corvette upon my Army discharge in February 1969, to the best man in my wedding, Randy was a brother I never had. Like Kim Gildea I am at a loss for words to express my grief, my sadness, and my sincere love for this wonderful friend and his family. Randy, you will never be forgotten. Never a bad time with this great and long-time friend. From back in the '50s and forevermore he was the man to be around. So sorry for his passing. We will never forget.

I am heartbroken and will miss this sweet wonderful man who has been a friend of our family for over 65 yrs. Randy always had a beautiful smile and that mischievous twinkle in his eyes. Such a kind, fun loving, compassionate man. He will always have a very special place in my heart. My sympathies and heartfelt prayers to the family.

I was so sorry to learn about Randy's passing. I will always remember him with a huge smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He was so much fun on the Pickleball court. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. My deepest sympathy to all of his loved ones.

I was so sorry to hear of Randy's passing. Dale and Betty were great friends with my parents and Randy always treated me like a kid sister. He was always smiling, kind and friendly, with an occasional prank thrown in. May he rest peacefully. Much love to and many prayers for his family and friends.

Many fun memories of good times on Gull Lake. Especially Randy's legendary Labor Day chili parties prior to heading to Bayview Gardens to extend the fun on the dance floor. I'm so glad I got to catch up during a visit back to Kalamazoo. I said a prayer for his soul & the comfort of all who love & miss him. Look for a pic I shared.

I think Randy is the last of the Highland Park old timers who continued to make Highland Park his residence from way back in the 60s when a lot of the homes were still summer cottages and before all the huge remodels became the norm. As one of the kids who grew up there too, I Pray for God's comfort for the family and friends who grieve Randy's passing.

Fond memories of great times at his lovely home on Gull Lake for various get-togethers and the annual Ice Fishing event! A very generous person with a big heart and great smile! Our condolences to the family and rest in peace Randy!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Randy's death. We had such fun with Kim and Randy in the early 70's. Always a big grin on his face and full mischief! Peace be with you and the family.

I am lost for words.

Randy and I played Little League baseball together in 1956 and 1957. Then sixty years later hooked up in the Wednesday golf group. Good friend, fine person. Paul DeHaan

I knew Randy when I lived with Grace and Harry Smith. I live in Canada since I graduated in 1977. My condolences to the family.

Upon hearing the sad news of Randy's passing, I said a special prayer for his soul and the comfort of all who know & love him. Many fond memories of his legendary Labor Day parties and fun on gorgeous Gull Lake. If not 1,200 miles away, I wouldn't miss his service.

Dale (Randy) had the meanest curveball in the Babe Ruth little league and used it to strike me out often. Nice young man with a easy smile. If I have the right Dale I'm sure that he grew into a fabulous husband and father.
