MARTIN, Dale Edward - Age 69, of Davisburg, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 30, 2026 at Cross Walk Family Church, 4453 Clintonville Road, Waterford. Pastor Rusty O'Neil officiating. Private burial will be held in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
Dale was born May 19, 1956 in Flint, the son of Avery and Dorothy (Rodgers) Martin. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. He married Laurie M. Spitzer March 6, 1976 in Fenton and she preceded him in death January 10, 2025. He had resided in Davisburg coming from Waterford. Dale was a Semi Truck driver from 30 years. He was a member of Cross Walk Family Church. He was a devout Christian who loved the Lord and his family.
Surviving are: his sons, Dale Martin, Jr. of Holly, Christopher Martin of Davisburg and Joshua (Jaime) Martin of Florida; grandchildren, Dale Martin III, Christopher Martin II, Adora Martin, Raine Lily O'Ryan, Kaleb Martin, Emily Martin and Dominic Martin; brother, Jim Smith, Jr.; cousins, Jim and Brenda Ostrom.
He was also preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Avery and Dorothy Martin; biological parents, Charles and Ruby Alexander; brothers, Bill Martin and Walter Waltz. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
