My deepest sympathy to all of the Maynard Families. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the visitation as I will be out of town with a medical appointment for Herman, who is now in the nursing home. A special thanks to Angela for the card and pictures you sent Herman and I earlier this year. It was so thoughtful of you. Unfortunately, I have misplaced your address. God bless and keep you all as you mourn the loss of your loved one.

Dale and I worked a 2-man shift for nearly five years... 24 hours together every third day. We were our own family. We confided in each other. We survived emergency calls together. We survived divorces together and found new soul mates together. There wasn't an episode of M.A.S.H. We didn't know by heart. Then retirement came and we each went our separate ways. Still, we were a part each other's life for a long time and I'm grateful for that. Rest in Peace Brother.

Dale was a great mentor and friend to me at the fire station. I'm so sad to hear that he is gone. I still refer to his training and wisdom when training younger guys here at my fire department. He has left a forever impression on me and my life an I am truly glad that I knew him. He will be missed and I am sorry for your loss.

I worked with Dale for many years. I will always remember his great sense of humor. We were a team --Tim, Dale, Howard and me, shooting fireworks off in the back lot of the forth of July.Rest in peace my friend.
