Dale Alfred Noack

Dale A. Noack, 85, passed away August 4, 2007 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. Visitation will be Monday, August 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Following visitation Dale�s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7 at the funeral home. Dale was born in Brown County, MN. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in WWII in the Railroad Battalion. Dale served in five countries and was decorated with the Silver and Bronze Battle Stars. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Indianola. Following the service he was employed and retired from RR Donnelley after 30 plus years of service. He is survived by his wife, Arlene. They shared nearly 62 years of marriage. He is survived by three daughters: Carol Ann Murphy, Janice Marie Frazier, and Kathryn Annette O�Mara; seven grandchildren and eight grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Keith Noack and one sister, Irene Cole. Dale was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Jaen Murphy and four siblings: Harold Noack, Gladys Torbet, Fern Kissler, and Dorothy Sullivan.
