Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing at the cottage up north and fishing in Canada, making maple syrup with his son, David, watching old time TV shows and doing jigsaw puzzles. Dale would like to be remembered for being able to fix anything.

Dale is further survived by great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, Ann, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Eloise Kauzlaric; and his sister, Delores Weinke.
