Dale E. Wild, Jr., of Leasburg, Missouri, was born on October 8, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Dale E. and Audrey (Nahlik) Wild, Sr. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 59 on February 18, 2025, in his home.
Dale dedicated thirty-three years of his life to McGinnis Wood Products, where he served as the Stave Mill Manager. He found joy in working on the farm, raising animals, spending time watching television and having a few snacks. He had a playful spirit and will be especially remembered for the lighthearted teasing he shared with his sister-in-law, Kimberly and others.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Dale E. Wild, Sr.; his grandparents, Walter and Sabra Wild, Joseph and Loretta Nahlik; his infant niece, Rebecca Wild; and his brother-in-law, Chris Sharp.
He is survived by his loving mother, Audrey Wild of Leasburg; six siblings: David (Tina) Wild of Cuba, Michelle (Glen) Roussin of Jefferson City, Patrick (Kimberly) Wild of Leasburg, Kathleen (Rick) McKnight of Leasburg, Timothy (Leslie) Wild of Sullivan, and Anne Sharp of Leasburg; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mizell Funeral Home, followed by a second visitation on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Bourbon, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, with Father Tony Onyeihe as the celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cuba, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates any memorial contributions to the Lifeline Pregnancy Care Center, located at 201 Lucia Ave., Cuba, Missouri 65453.
