Daljit Singh Saini

Mr. Saini was a great man. We enjoyed our conversations about India (Hindustan) and Sikhism. I liked talking history about India and the Punjab region with this man.

The few times that I talked with Mr. Saini-ji, he lifted my spirits. I remembered when he invited me to attend his Sikh temple service.

He did an excellent jobs with his 2 sons, both whom became successful in their own ways.

Daljit was always humble friendly and a great person to be with in any occasion. Always remember Daljit years ago making Naan and other things for a group of his colleagues and best friends together at my house in David Panama.

I was saddened to hear of Daljit´s passing. He was a great man and physicist, and our community will greatly miss him. I´d like to extend my condolences to his family.

I remember Daljit from my medical physics student days in the 90's, when he invited myself and Amarjit to the Melbourne center to showcase what clinical life was like in our profession. He was always kind and positive in his interactions, and even tried to teach me Indian dancing techniques during an annual reunion at one of the AAPM meetings (with limited success.) Condolences to the family for your loss. Try to dwell more on the many good memories you have of Daljit to sustain you during this time of mourning.

I was both shocked and saddened by the loss of a dear friend and colleague. I will always cherish the great memories I had with you Daljit. Your smile and kindness will live forever. My hearfelt sadness and deepest condoleances to the family and friends at this sad time.
