Dallas Carl “Joe” Finley, 74, passed away June 20, 2025, in his home. He was born on September 22, 1950, to Robert Finley and Helen Dawson Finley in Hawesville, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of VFW’s 972, and 6572, as well as the Am Vets of Rockville, Indiana. Joe liked to collect guns, work on cars; especially helping with neighbor’s car troubles, watch westerns, go to the Rockville Sale Barn, camping, and spending time with grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and his father, his wife, Debra Kay Finley, son, Bobby Stevens, and sisters, Brenda Finley, Linda Harris, and Joyce Finley. He is survived by Joseph Carl Finley (Dawn), Christina Stevens (Thomas), Greg Finley and family, Phyllis Finley and family, Venita Swiger and family, brother Vernon Finley (Debbie), grandkids, Jesse, Cody, Kayla, Jacob (Lakin), Justin, Jayden, Josh, Destiny, David, Jacob, Oakleigh, Chrislyn, many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Diana Valangeun, and Earl Leclercq.

Services for Joe will be Friday, June 27, 2025, at 4 PM in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885. Visitation is scheduled from 2 PM until service time at the funeral home on Friday. Military rites will be conducted. Notes of condolence may be left at: www.fitzpatrick-funeralhome.com.
