Dallas Kidd

Dallas Irene Kidd (76) of Fairlawn, OH passed away on May 22, 2012 at Akron City Hospital. The daughter of Charles and Irene (Benson) Ralph, Dallas was born November 20, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY. Before moving to Ohio, Dallas lived in the Catskills, a place which held many fond memories for her. On August 16, 1958 she married Robert R. Kidd with whom she spent 42 wonderful years before his passing in 2000. A graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, Dallas was a homemaker and also worked as a school bus driver for Howland City Schools. She was a member of the Montrose Zion United Methodist Church in Fairlawn, OH. She was an avid reader who also enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and watching old films. Dallas is survived by two children, Robert C. (Bonnie) Kidd of Ann Arbor, Michigan and Lori I. Kidd of Fairlawn, OH. She is also survived by her grandson Samuel Kidd. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Robert. A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Saturday May 26, 2012 at Howland United Methodist Church 730 Howland-Wilson Road Warren, Ohio 44484.
