Dallas Gray Warden, 94, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away on May 10, 2025.
Dallas was born to Dallas and Ola Warden on June 7, 1930. Owner of Warden Motors, Dallas was a self-made man. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, sly sense of humor, and generous heart. Dallas was preceded in death by his wives, Dalphene Warden and Peggy Cornatzer Warden; and his beloved daughter, Robyn King. Dallas is survived by his longtime companion, Peggy Parker; son, Ronald Warden (Sue); son-in-law, Rob King; and grandchildren, Cash King and Sterling King (Raman). The family would like to express gratitude to Teri Torrence, Tammy Turner, and the other caregivers who took such excellent care of Dallas for the past year.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, May 18th, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Flowers will be accepted, or donations can be made to ECHO Ministries/The Ark, PO Box 102, Elkin, NC 28621, or to the charity of your choice. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.

I have many years of memories of knowing Dallas. Through my first husband, I have memories of him, Dalphene, and Ronnie. Then years later through First Christian Church . God bless his soul and his family!

I extend my sincere condolences to all of his family members. When you became a friend of Dallas, you became part of his family. I enjoyed having that Privilege over the years. He enjoyed all the car raffles, and I cannot recall how many times he won, but he won a few. He always knew how to make me laugh. Dear friend, the Gates of Heaven await you.
