A celebration of life for Dalton “Bud” Williams, Jr., 75, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, April 13, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of West Monroe, with Rev. Jon Tellifero officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Mr. Williams was born on April 20, 1948, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, and passed away at his residence on April 9, 2024, in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Bud worked for Central Oil Company for thirty-six years before retiring in 2018. Bud had a passion for building and working on things. He also was an avid gardener and loved to tend to his yard. He was a member of Faith Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dalton Williams, Sr. and Bess Maude Potter Williams; father-in-law, Harvey Ramsey; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Slack; and brother-in-law, Curtis Ramsey, Sr.
Those left to cherish Bud’s memory are his beloved wife, Una Ramsey Williams; Ellie Mae, his beloved Boston Terrier and companion; son, Adam Lucas Williams and his wife, Shannon; sisters, Halda Williams Brown and her husband, Jim, Sr. and Pamela Williams Watson and her husband, Ronnie, Sr.; granddaughter, Karli Williams; sister in law, Jan Spruell and husband, Peewee; brother In law, William Ramsey; father in law, Riley Slack; six nephews; three nieces; as well as a host of great nephews, great nieces, and many other family members that he so dearly loved.
Memorials can be made to Faith Methodist Church, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, or your favorite charity.
