Damarion Wayne Wright, 17, departed this life on August 8, 2022.
Damarion the son of Demetrious Wright and Whitley Madison, was born on July 15, 2005, in Decatur, IL.
Damarion was affectionally called "Marion" by his family and friends. He attended MacArthur High School, and was currently relocating to Peoria, to complete his senior year. He was employed with Taco Bell and attended youth programs at Old King Orchard. He endeavored to be the example for other youth and his siblings to follow and do better. He often spoke to his brothers about life and encouraged them to play sports.
Marion was very fashionable when it came to dressing, he thought he was the best to ever do it. Every time he got dressed, he often looked in the mirror and say to himself, "Oh my god" or "This so cold" with a big smile on his face. He took pride in keeping his appearance up. He enjoyed playing video games and playing with his younger siblings and spending time with his friends.
Damarion was a quiet and respectful young man. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for the ones he loved. He was the most unselfish person that one would know. He will be missed by all those who knew him.
Damarion leaves to cherish his special memories, his parents, Demetrious Wright and Whitley Madison; grandparents, Renee Wright, Richard Madison, Marva Wright, Orlando Smith; great grandparents, Velma Madison, Betty Dixon, and Raymond Gore; brothers, La'Marcus Reed, Je'Cam Bates, Legend Smith, Demetrious Wright Jr., Darian Wright, Deontae Wright, and Draedyn Wright; sisters, Jewel Cannon, Dallas Wright, Dynasti Wright and Eryn Wright; aunts and uncles, Ricardo Foreman, Richard Harper, Orlando Smith II, Tabreeka Hamer, Lanita Manley, Tacarra Hamer, Kanisha Polk, Tatyana Purnell, Aretha McClarins, and Tiaundra Mitchelle. Damarion also leaves his girlfriend, Steazia Linwood, special friends, Cory McCoy, Jayden Woods, Markerion Taylor, Marshawn Sanders, Yancere Barbee, Terrianna Smith, Jacourious Harper, Anthony Williams, Anthony Anderson, Julius Slaughter, Amaria Pender, Jatavious Jones, and Kevion Brown as well as a host of other special cousins, friends, and relatives.
Damarion is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Herdon Foreman and Myron Wright, great grandmother, Josie Smith and Vivian Foreman, aunt, Patricia Johnson and cousin Aidarrius "Duke Duke" Woods.
