Damasio Alcozer Obituary

Damasio Alcozer, 85, of Belton, passed away on September 7, 2024, at his home. Visitation will take place from 5-6pm, and Rosary will take place 6-7pm, on Thursday, September 12, at Dossman Funeral Home. Services will be on Friday, September 13, at 10am, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will take place at North Belton Cemetery following the service.
Mr. Alcozer was born on December 11, 1938, in Salado, TX., to Andrew and Romalda Alcozer.
He married the love of his life, Manuela Anchando, on May 12,1958. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and playing horseshoe. He loved spending time with his family. Whether it was a barbeque, watching the grandkids play sports, or playing dominoes, if it was with family, he loved it. And he always had watermelon and popsicles on standby for any visitors to enjoy. He also enjoyed spending time with his pet, Martin, a boxer that misses him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Manuela Alcozer; one son, Carlos Alcozer; his stepfather, Manuel Vallez; four brothers, Domingo Alcozer, Albert Alcozer, Andrew Alcozer, and Jesse Alcozer; and one sister, Lucy Moralez.
He is survived by three children, Margaret Rendon and husband Randy, Gilbert Alcozer and wife Angie, and Victor Alcozer and wife Nancy; one brother, Raymond Alcozer; three sisters, Francis Moralez, Lupita Alcozer, and Juanita Alcozer; seventeen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
