Damen William Robertson, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Easley, South Carolina. Born on May 28, 1983, in Wheeling, West Virginia, Damen lived his life with a deep love for family and friends, and a zest for the outdoors that inspired those around him.
Damen was admired for his intelligence and creativity, qualities that shone brightly in both his personal and professional life. He dedicated many years to a fulfilling career in the manufacturing field, where his selfless nature and humor made him a cherished colleague. Damen could light up a room with his laughter, and his wit often turned mundane moments into cherished memories.
Outside of his endeavors at work, Damen cherished his time immersed in nature. He loved being outdoors, making bonfires, and enjoying the beauty of the world around him. Music was another passion that ignited his spirit, allowing him to connect with friends and family through the power of song. His affection for animals showcased his gentle heart, as he often found joy in their company.
Damen's legacy will forever live on through his treasured daughter, Dani Robertson, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. He is also survived by his loving mother, Karen Chandler, and his sister, Amanda Watkin (Brian). His memory will be held dear by his nieces, Hannah Gravely (Lily) and Carsyn Gravely, and his nephew, Chase Gravely (Italy), each of whom held a unique and special bond with him that will resonate in their hearts forever. He is also survived by one aunt and four uncles, who remember him fondly.
Damen is preceded in death by his father, Howard "Bud" Robertson, and his maternal and paternal grandparents, William and Florence Robertson, and Orville and Carol Gay, all of whom welcomed him with open arms as he journeys into eternity.
The warmth of Damen’s loving spirit and the laughter he shared will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. As we reflect on the remarkable individual that he was, let us remember the joy he brought to our lives and the memories we hold dear.
