Damian Phillip McCluskey, of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 25. Mr. McCluskey was born in Cullman County, Alabama, on July 27, 2000, to the late Susan Miranda McCluskey.
As a young man Damian attended Holly Pond High School, and there he met the love of his life, Drew. Damian and Drew began dating at the age of fifteen and married two years ago. Together they have three beautiful children, all of whom were cherished by their father. Damian was a loving a devoted husband and father and his motivation in life was to provide for both Drew and their children. Damian’s skills as a carpenter were not just useful in providing for his family, but they allowed him to do something he loved. Damian enjoyed working with wood and creating beautiful things. Mr. McCluskey’s quick wit and many jokes were known to all who knew him. He is also remembered as an avid gun collector.
Mr. McCluskey is preceded in death by his mother as well as his Memaw, Samantha Pigg.
Those left to cherish Damian’s memory include his wife, Drew Hollis McCluskey; children, Karson, Oaklynn, and Korbin; father, Mark Wallace, Jr.; Pawpaw, Joey Pigg; brother, Dalton Bryson; close friend, Brad Myers; and a host of loving family and friends.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.
