Wolf Funeral Services - MortonCelebration of Life for our beloved son, father, brother, and friend, Mr. Damion DeMarcus “Dee” McClendon, who passed away on September 2, 2025, in New Braunfels/Schertz, Texas, at the age of 34.
Damion was born on April 19, 1991, in Hinds County, Jackson, Mississippi, to Juanita Dean Henson and the late Isaac Tyrone McClendon. Damion’s bright smile and joyful spirit brought light to those around him. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, and the laughter he shared with family and friends.
Damion spent his early years in San Antonio, Texas, before moving to Morton, Mississippi, where he graduated from Morton HS. During his school years, he built lasting friendships. He discovered his strength and determination as a member of the powerlifting team, earning a championship ring under the guidance of Coach/Pastor Fletcher. He was baptized on December 14, 2003, at Saint Stephen’s Baptist Church in San Antonio, publicly affirming his faith in Christ.
As an adult, Damion carried that same determination into his work. He was known as a dedicated and dependable colleague at CFAN GE Aerospace, where he gave his best each day and was respected by those who worked alongside him.
Damion was united in marriage to Fallon Valerie Graffee McClendon, and although the couple divorced in December 2021, two beautiful children were born from their union. Damion was a devoted father whose greatest joy was his children.
He leaves to cherish his memory three children: Marcus Tyrel (Lena), Mariah Janea, and Carter Vendez McClendon (Newton), Mississippi. He is also survived by his mother, Juanita Dean Henson; his siblings, Todizion (Tod) McClendon, Tezarious T. McClendon, and Ashondra Johnson; and his grandmother, Geraldine Cadwallader, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Isaac Tyrone McClendon, and his grandparents, Willie B. Henson and Isaac Cleo /Martha Mae McClendon.
