A Celebration of Life Service for Damon Brown, age 32, of Enid, will be 10:00 am, Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with USAF SSGT Devin Koehn officiating. Service and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Damon Brown was born on January 14, 1993, to his proud father, Jeremy Damon Brown. In 1999, Jeremy fell in love with Jennifer Scribner, giving Damon an adoring and devoted momma who changed his life forever.
Jeremy and Jennifer built a happy life with their children: John, Kelsie, Paige, Damon, Katie, and Emily. Damon's childhood was filled with love, laughter, and adventure. He attended Pond Creek, Waukomis, and Enid Public Schools, ultimately graduating from Covington-Douglas in 2011. Damon was athletically gifted, especially in track and field, where he was "kind of a big deal."
In 2013, Damon met the loves of his life, Kory Edson, and her beautiful daughter, Lizzy. Damon loved them from the beginning-they were The Three Amigos. They went on to build a beautiful family, adding their son Luke in 2016 and son Layne in 2017, completing their Party of Five.
Damon, Kory, and their children built a life full of love, patience, kindness, acceptance, and fun.
Damon was the very best daddy any child could ask for, and Kory's true partner in life. Sadly, Damon left this life on June 15, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Rogers, and close family friends Kevin Neathery and Jenni Honeyman. He is survived by his treasured partner, Kory Edson, and their children: Lizzy, Luke Damon, and Layne William; his parents, Jeremy and Jennifer Brown; his in-laws, Mark and Kathy Edson; his siblings John, Kelsie, Paige, Allison, Katie (Marco), and Emily; and an extended family that includes Jace, Talon, Arianna, and Shaina. Damon is also survived by countless family members, friends, loved ones, and a large gaming community where he touched thousands of lives.
Damon's calm, cool demeanor served him well. He was a happy and devoted family man who loved deeply and showed his love with ease.
We all loved our Daddy, Day Day, Loki, Son, Bubba, Uncle, Cousin, and Friend.
Damon, thank you for loving me for all that I am.
Love,
Your Baby
