Damon Cline

DAMON CLINE, 89, of Charleston, WV. passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025, at his home with his loving wife of 45 years by his side, along with his two dogs, Henry and Goldie, and his cat, Charlie.
He was born in War Eagle, WV, on November 11, 1936, to parents Toney E. Cline and Clarice (Okes) Cline. Following his discharge from the United States Air Force, he owned and operated a construction company in Maryland. Later in life, he moved to Charleston, where he retired from the State of West Virginia Department of Highways.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded death by his brothers and sister, Toney Dwane Cline, Diana Cline and Danny Cline, and his son, Danny Joseph Cline.
Damon is survived by his wife, Donnie Cline; his daughter, Linda Cline Foxx; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, working in his garden and watching the deer from his backyard, operating his dozer and reading science fiction novels.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
