Born Thursday, July 11, 2002, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Daniel LeAndrew Ware and Christina Rena Chaney both of Montgomery County, MD.
Damon graduated from North Hagerstown High School in 2020, where he played football. He was employed with FedEx. Damon loved to dance, listen to music and rap and enjoy his family and friends.
Besides his parents he is survived by his brother, DeLaun E. Smith, sister, Miracle M. Chaney-Ware, maternal grandparents, Chris & Debbie Chaney and paternal grandfather, Randolph R. Hamlin.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Linda P. Ware.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 3, 2026, at 12:00 pm, at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North Hagerstown, MD, with the Bishop Mitchell Robinson and Pastor Brad Dove officiating.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service
Interment will be private.
