Dan Michael Battles

Dear Tracy and Casey and family,

We were so very saddened to learn about the passing of Dan. He was truly a very, very special person. I have many fond memories of him as the dad of kindergarten or Casey, and Steve has many warm memories of Dan from baseball.
He will truly be missed by so many and left a legacy of kindness and integrity. Wishing you all peace and comfort as you heal.

He was a loved and respected fellow high school classmate and he will be greatly missed by those of us still remaining. I offer my most sincere condolences to his family and friends and pray that his soul may rest in peace!

Tracy, Casey and family, John & I are so sorry to hear this news. Dan always had a smile on his face, such a kind man & a wonderful neighbor for many years. We will never forget Dan. So sorry for your loss.

I was a student teacher in Dan´s class in the early 70s at Livingston and learned a lot from working and observing in his classroom. I had a 35 year career in the Albany school system, and I believe I owe a large part of that to Dan´s positive influence. My sincere condolences on his passing.

Dan was a colleague and a friend for many years. I will miss him despite not spending much time with him since our retirements. Our shared time, talks, and moments together are meaningful memories for me.
I hope his passing was not painful and that he shared those last moments with loved ones.
