Dan Cayo Obituary

Published by Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Crematory Services - Down Town Location on Mar. 26, 2016.

Dan was born on November 24, 1929 and passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016. Dan was a resident of Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the time of his passing. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Navy Occupation Service Medal. He was married to Phyllis. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cotrell Funeral Chapel in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel with Dr. William Vail officiating. Burial with full military honors will take place at 3 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield Mo. Memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International P.O. Box 412 Poplar Bluff MO 63902.

Dear Phyllis and Family: I was so surprised to hear of Dan's homegoing. How wonderful for him, but I realize how large a hole it leaves in the heart of each one that only the Lord can heal. "He heals the broken hearted."

So very, very soon the Lord will come for the rest of His own and we shall be caught up to meet HIM in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Amen. Even so come, Lord Jesus.
