Dan Deonier

1960 - 2024

Daniel Gerard Deonier 64 years old passed away peacefully from natural causes surrounded by loved ones on February 23,2024.
Born to Alan and Marie Deonier on January 30th 1960,
He moved to Boise Idaho when he was 4 years old, in June of 66 he moved to Sidney Mt. finally ending up in Billings Mt. in June of 76 where he lived out the remainder of his life.
Dan loved the outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, or camping. He really enjoyed the family cabin that he helped build. Dan was very close to his grandma Greeta Pedersen who taught him a lot about survival in the outdoors. He loved to make homemade Salsa from his abundant garden and the best deer jerky from his hunts. He was an avid outdoorsman.
Dan was a hard-working person and a fun person to be around. He would take his family to the little RC track to watch the RC races. He loved taking his sons Jason Deonier and Josh Deonier hunting and fishing. He would take his whole family out fishing and camping. He would comb and braid his daughter's (April) hair for her.
Dan was married to Janice Moltzan from 1980 to 2002. Dan and Janice met while attending Senior High school in Billings Montana. They have 3 children Jason Deonier, Josh Deonier, April Deonier Bryant.
He was a wonderful husband, a great father and an awesome brother. He was a kind, creative, artistic, and crafty person. He built a bridge at the family cabin that lasted decades. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a laugh that would fill you with joy.
Dan is survived by his mother Marie Deonier, sister Angela D'Elia, brother Dave Deonier, children Jason Deonier (wife) Anna Deonier, Josh Deonier (wife) Lovely Ladera, and April (Deonier) Bryant (husband) James Bryant, his grandchildren Gage Rogers, Anthony Deonier, Maya Deonier, Justin Deonier, Sienna Deonier, Daniel Deonier, Kaylee Bryant and Haylie Bryant, his nieces Giovana D'Elia and Daron Deonier-Clemons, and nephew Ryan Deonier.

Dan is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents and Grandparents, and his father.
