Mr. Dan Eugene "Danny" Hennon

Mr. Dan Eugene "Danny" Hennon, age 68, of Summerville, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Atrium Health Floyd.

Mr. Hennon was born October 25, 1956, in Trion, GA, son of Hattie Winters Hennon Dentmon and the late Dennie Hennon. He was previously employed with Harriett and Henderson for 24 years and Mohawk Industries for 20 years. Mr. Hennon loved spending time with his loving wife and family. He also enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and movies, and collecting hats and model cars. He was also an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Linda Hennon and Dennis Hennon; and sister-in-law, Jenny Hennon.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Janet Hunter Hennon; sons, Tommy (Whitney) Hennon, Dusty Hennon (Christina Drake); mother, Hattie Dentmon; brother, Jerry Hennon; sisters, Judy Goins, Bobbie Beach, Wanda England; sister-in-law, Barbara (Shack) Ward; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 expected great-grandchild; special niece, Tonya (Nick) Chamlee; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside and interment services to celebrate the life of Mr. Hennon will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 13, 2025, at West Hill Cemetery with Dr. Sammy Barrett and Rev. Kevin J. Norton officiating. Pallbearers will be Nick Chamlee, Michael Fender, Gary Broyles, Ronnie Carroll, Coal Hennon, and Roy Ellenburg.

Mr. Hennon will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M. on Saturday.
