In Loving Memory of Dan M. Lemke
November 17, 1955 - October 28, 2025
Dan M. Lemke, a lifelong resident of Pedricktown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at his home on October 28, 2025. Born on November 17, 1955, Dan lived a life defined by loyalty and a genuine love for family and places around him.
A proud Eagle Scout and 1974 graduate of Penns Grove High School and Vo-Tech, Dan built a strong work ethic early in life - one that carried him through his years at DuPont Chambers Works. He spent many happy hours on the softball field, playing in both the DuPont and PG-CP-PED leagues. Always eager to serve, he also devoted his time to the Pedricktown Ambulance Squad, offering help wherever it was needed.
Dan found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved traveling - especially his trips to Biloxi, Mississippi - and felt most at peace near the water, boating, crabbing, and clamming. Friends and neighbors knew they could always count on him for a helping hand. Above all, Dan cherished his family, who meant everything to him.
Dan is predeceased by his father, Mervin Lemke. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Gail Lemke; brothers, Bruce and Brian Lemke; sister, Robin Oliver, and her husband, Keith; nieces, Rachel Oliver and Amanda Hyatt with her husband, Scott; great-nephews, Hunter and Elijah Hyatt; and cousins, Doug and Bonnie Lemke. His generous heart and steadfast spirit will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Dan's memory to the Pedricktown Ambulance Squad, 37 Straughns Mill Road, Pedricktown, NJ 08067 or to the Logan Volunteer Fire Company of Pedricktown, 39 S. Railroad Avenue, Pedricktown, NJ 08067. www.adamsfuneralhome.org
