Im actually in Florida and heard the sad news of Dans passing. I want to express my sympathy to the entire family.Dan was a giant in the coaching profession. I always enjoyed talking football with Dan and valued his opinion and expertise. He was a tough guy but he cared about kids and was good for the game. I will never forget Mr. McGrew ever at the Weir High School Basketball Games when I was in High School. I had a pass to get in the games for free always. I will never forget my fond memories of me showing it to him at the front door there for approval every time he had to see it to let me in the gym. Rest In peace Mr. McGrew.
