He was born on December 15, 1947, in Cario, Illinois to Louis L. Rockett, Sr. and Maxine Elizabeth Allen Rockett Laster. He was a longtime associate of State Farm Insurance.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Lynn Rockett; his mother, Maxine Elizabeth Laster; his father, Louis L. Rockett Jr.; brother, Jan Allen Rockett and stepfather, Albert "Doc" Laster.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 58 years, Linda Marie Hodges Rockett; son, Timothy Rockett, and grandchildren Cavan and his wife Morgan of League City, TX and Rylen Rockett of Galveston; brother, Michael Louis Rockett of Charleston, Missouri.
Family and friends may assemble for graveside services at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Charleston, MO.
Interment will follow under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
