Robert A. Dewey
Robert Arthur Dewey, 59, of Spotsylvania County died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Mr. Dewey retired from the U.S. Navy as a senior chief after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his loving wife of 22 years, Rose-Marie O. Dewey; his son, Robert Arthur Dewey III and his wife, Tara, of Mesa, Ariz.; his stepdaughter, Anne-Marie Beers and her husband, Peter, of Gale's Ferry, Conn.; his stepsons, Ernest Messina of Spotsylvania and Christopher Turano of Groton, Conn.; his brothers, David Dewey and Patrick Dewey and his wife, Jerri; his sister, Candace Midgley and her husband, John; and his grandchildren, Kaytlyn, Jared, Brandon and Ethan Dewey, Michael Messina, and Haley and Emily Turano.
Services will be held in New York at a later date.
