Dana Evans Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

Dana Kimberly Evans, age 53, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at West Tennessee Healthcare - Dyersburg. She was born and raised in Covington, Tennessee, and worked as a bus driver for Tipton County Schools until her health declined in recent years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren C. Gray. To cherish her memory, Ms. Evans is survived by her daughter, Kimberly "Kadie" and son-in-law, Steven Baylous; her grandchildren, Kaiden Baylous, Jade Baylous, and Brantley Baylous; her mother, Rosemary Gray; her sister, Vicky and brother-in-law, Roger Scott, and her brother, Mark and sister-in-law Sherrie Gray.
Dana loved her family dearly. She loved getting together with her siblings, attending the grandkids' softball and baseball games when they were younger, spending time with her parents, and just having the best time. Not only did she love to laugh, but her joy made everyone else have a great time, too! She was always supportive of her family and friends, even when she couldn't be somewhere in-person, she made sure to show her love and support through Facebook, and let others know just how proud she was of them! Keeping up with friends and family through social media, and reading is how she liked to relax.
Aside from fellowship with family, Mexican food was one of the things Dana thoroughly enjoyed. Whenever possible, she would "make" her family members take a detour just to pick up something from El Toro Taco on their way home for her. Watching football was also a pastime of hers, and Dana would say that Alabama was HER team, so any time they were playing, you could bet she'd be keeping an eye on the game, with a Diet Dr. Pepper in her hand, of course!
