Dana Gingrich

I ordered pizza one night from a local restaurant here in Santa Fe. It was delivered to Las Campanas Gate house. Dana loved it. We had several moments where we would eat and he would tell me a story about him and his wife or his Dad. I'm going to miss him.
Dana always made me laugh.
I gave him a round glass for a table. I couldn't believe the beautiful work he did on a table he made.
When I first got hired he introduced himself and he asked me if I was the retired Santa Fe Police Officer. I confirmed it. He started with his stories and me with mine. It's a wonder I even wanted to work after that. I knew I had just made myself a lifetime friend. God Bless his family he loved you dearly. He was so happy he had gone to New York to see his son and family. He was already looking forward to going next year.
It's hard to stop talking about Dana because he was such a good friend. Men like him only come around once in a while.
