Mrs. Danajo Eileen Saville Kiger, 60, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Danajo was born on September 4, 1965, in Pennsylvania to Patricia Sulley Kerkpatrick. She was raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before moving to North Carolina. She attended White Plains Baptist Church and graduated from White Plains Christian School.
Danajo worked at Libby Hill, Cedar Forest Christian School, and Calvary Christian School before pursuing a nursing degree at Surry Community College. She graduated at the top of her class and received the Who’s Who Award in Nursing—an accomplishment she was deeply proud of.
On April 11, 1987, Danajo married the love of her life, Jack Kiger, and together they shared 38 wonderful years. They raised three children—Josh, Natasha, and Caleb—whom she loved with all her heart. She adored her five grandchildren—Luke, Hunter, Sadie, Levi, and Carter—and cherished every moment she spent with them. Danajo enjoyed time at the beach, traveling, and riding bikes with her beloved husband.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Kerkpatrick, and her brother, Eric Casey. She is survived by her husband, Jack; her children and their spouses—Josh & Tabitha, Natasha & David, and Caleb & Darcie; and her five grandchildren—Luke, Hunter, Sadie, Levi, and Carter. She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses—Dee, Coral & Steve, Dwane & Teresa, and Donnie—along with her beloved nieces and nephews.
