Dane Eschelbach, 73, a resident of Bennington, VT died on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Centers for Living & Rehabilitation in Bennington.
He was born in Massachusetts on August 25, 1948 and was the son of Hazel Perry and Carl Eschelbach. He received his education in Natick, Massachusetts.
Dane served in the military and is a Vietnam veteran.
In earlier years, Dane was a truck driver until his retirement in 2014.
Dane enjoyed driving trucks, being outside, sports, skiing.
Survivors include his daughters Ellen Eschelbach Hicks and her husband Michael Hicks of New Hampshire and Danielle Eschelbach of Maine, his sons Michael Cabral, his wife Ria Cabral of Texas, Dane William Jr. of Florida and Joe Eschelbach of New Hampshire and two step daughters Michelle Flanders and Darlene Willette. A sister; Karen Eschelbach-Bister and her husband Edward Bister of Washington, and two brothers; Brad Eschelbach and his wife Rebecca Nolan of Arizona, Bruce Eschelbach and his wife Karen Mcgregor of Utah. His grandchildren; Emma, Payton, Amber, Marcus, Abigail, Robert, Catina, Jordan, Jala, Justin, Jessica, Crysty. He is predeceased by a brother, Craig Eschelbach.
A celebration of Dane's life will be held at a later date.
