Danette "Debbie" Kimbrell, 57, of Forest City, died Friday, March 24, 2023.
She was the daughter of Betty and Randy Crawley of Ellenboro. Debbie was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Forest City. She had worked at the Rutherford County Health Department, Forest City Family Care, Elizabeth Miller Law Office, and St. Luke's Hospital. Debbie was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Kimbrell.
To know Debbie was to love her, she was kind, helpful, and always had a smile. She made friends wherever she went. She loved her family dearly and spent all of her free time with her husband of 38 years, her children and grandchildren. Fond memories of her will be cherished forever.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 38 years, Duane Kimbrell; her daughters, Kristen Greene and her husband Matt, of Bostic, and Stephanie Kimbrell of Bessemer City; her sister, Shannon Sisk of Forest City; her grandchildren, Jaxson Greene, Avery Greene, Maddox Greene, Carter Greene, and Fallynn Kimbrell; a sister-in-law, Teresa Cooke and her husband Jeff; a brother-in-law, Gary Kimbrell; there are a host of nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 pm Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at First Wesleyan Church of Forest City. The Rev. Eric Yelton and Rev. Steven Cooper will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers are Duane Kimbrell, Randy Crawley, Matt Greene, Tyler Greene, Stephen Harris and Shane Walker.
The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3:45 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
