Daniel Dale Adams, 61, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed from this life on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at his home in Cookeville, Tennessee, surrounded by those he loved.

Daniel was born on Thursday, October 15, 1964, in Killeen, Texas. He was the son of the late Bobby Adams and Mary Hostetler.

Daniel shared 28 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Lizette Adams. Their life together was built on love, laughter, and companionship. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and grandfather whose love for his family was evident in everything he did. Daniel found peace in the outdoors and happiness in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being surrounded by nature, and his family. He enjoyed collecting My Father and Drew Estate Cigars and playing poker. He had a love for sports; always rooting for his favorite teams The Chicago Bears and Chicago Black Hawks. Those who knew Daniel will remember his presence, his stories, and the way he made others feel welcomed and loved.

In addition to his wife, Lizette Adams, Daniel is survived by his mother, Mary Hostetler, 4 children: Terrance Lyons, Felicia Lee, Aiesha Simmons, Jasmine Martinez, niece, Amber Sky Adams, 2 cousins: Lester Hostetler, Thomas Hostetler, 2 grandchildren: Jaiden Lee and Lillian Lee.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Adams, and his brother Robb Adams.

Though his time with us feels far too short, Daniel's love, strength, and memory will live on through the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family chose cremation; there are no services being held at this time.
